There are two main departments on the Duluth campus and over 130 faculty members. Our clinical faculty can be found throughout the state, and our on-campus faculty work primarily to educate undergraduate medical students and conduct research. We often interact with the Twin Cities campus remotely to continue engagement with the school's overall mission and goals.
Twin Cities students are enrolled by the Medical School Registrar on a semester basis during their full academic career. Duluth students will be enrolled by the Medical School Registrar during their third and fourth year of medical school only. Students are registered according to the approximate times listed below.
ATTENTION REGISTRARS: On Jan. 9, 2023, the AMCAS verification team will email a letter to your office requesting updated grading information. Obtaining this vital data helps us verify applications properly and ensures students are represented accurately to their prospective medical schools. For questions, please email registrarletters@aamc.org.
Please contact your registrar to inquire whether they are pre-approved to send AMCAS emailed transcripts or if they use National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment. Requesting an electronic transcript from a school that is not approved will result in delays. Applicant inquiries may be directed here.
If approved for the Fee Assistance Program, you will receive a waiver for all AMCAS fees for one (1) application submission with up to 20 medical school designations ($987 value). Benefits are not retroactive.
